This is a very obvious question. An obvious question always have an obvious answer. The answer for this question will be "no".
First point that I would like to point out is why should we ever consider killing wild animals. In order to understand this point, we should define "wild animals". Wild animals include all those not for eating such as shrimps, trouts, in the ocean, or rabbits, deers, on the land. Thus, some examples of wild animals are: bear, tiger, shark, and many more. We don't need to eat these animals and thus they have equal right to exist as humans do. There is no need for us to kill them. Imagine us being wild animals, and a tiger comes to kill us. Anyone would feel unfair.
Secondly, wild animals support the ecosystem very well. They serve their own role in the system. For example, the eagle is a wild animal and we don't eat eagles. They can haunt mice for us and eliminate those pests for us. If we killed all the eagles, there will be a population sprout on the mice and many other insects. That in turn is not good for us.
Thirdly, many wild animals are near extinct due to human actions and destroying their habitats. For example, the siberian tigers are almost extinct because their habitats are destroyed in the North and human killed most of their prays and thus leave no food for them. It is against the humanity to allow any animal extinct due to human activities.
Forthly, many wild animals are very cute. People like them. Cats used to be wild animals, but people found out that cats can be nice mice catchers and plus cats are very cute, now cats are officially house animals. There are many other wild animals like cats. How can anyone slaughter these cute animals?
Summing up all the points, it is not the right thing to kill other animals because we are superior than them. Imagine aliens coming in one day and decided to start a massacre on human race because they are better and have better weapons. How would we feel? It is not fair, not right, not human to do these things. So stop killing wild animals.
We have already lost hundreds of species of animals to extinction. Once they are gone, they will never come back. It is important that we protect animals. All animals play important parts in the food chain as well as assisting other animals and plants.
Animals are our friends, and friends should be protected. Animals help our environment, it's part of the ecosystem. Animals should have as much right as anyone should because they also have a life too.
The balance of nature requires that all things work in union with each other. The dog kills the cat, that killed the bird, that ate the worm. Without the animals performing their natural functions, we would be overrun with rats,
We need to protect animals in order for our society to be a compassionate, caring society. There is a famous saying- "You can judge society by the way it treats its' animals." This is a profound truth.。
