双人英语演讲稿双人英语演讲稿Dearteacher and classmates:I am very glad to make a speech here in this claagain! This time, I\'d like to talk something about English.I love English. English language is now used everywhere in the world. It has bee the most mon language on Internet and for international trade. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure.WhenI was seven, my mother sent me to an English school. At there, I played games and sang English songs with other children . Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.Everyday, I read English following the tapes. Sometimes, I watch English cartoons.Onthe weekend, I often go to the English corner. By talkingwith different people there, I have made more and morefriends as well as improved my oral English.I hope I cantravel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington Monument, because the president Washingtonis my idol. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will be very happy.I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. I\'ll introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City andAnshan.I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well.If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday , it willlove metoo.============================================Summer BreakSven: “hi Wendy”Wendy: “hi Sven”Sven: “only 2 more weeks of classes, 8 schooldays actually then examsstart”Wendy: “yes. I will be glad when exams are over. Iget panicky and very stressed atexam time. I find myselfea ting constantly and I don’t seem to find any time toexercise”Sven: “exams don’t bother me that much. Thisyear most of the marks for my courseswere based onassignments and research projects. I only have 2 exams”Wendy: “you’re lucky. I have 5. I also need to get good marks over 80% or I wont beable to keep my scholarship”Sven: “what are you doing for summer break?’Wendy: “I would like to go to Italy and work at a restaurant in Florence. My uncleowns a restaurant specializing in seafood and he has offered me ajob for the summer. In Italy there are lots of Englishspeaking tourists so he would like to have someonefluent in English. It would also be an excellent opportunity for me to practice myItalian. I hope to be a translator one day so I need to be fluent i n several languages”Sven: “that would bea wonderful summer!”Wendy: “yes I know. I really want to go. The problem is my father had a heart attack 3weeks ago. He’s out of the hospital now and not in too much danger but he cannot domuch around the house. My brother is overseas withthe air force so I am the only oneto help my mother aroundthe house. It is such a dilemma. I don’t know what todo”Sven: “yes I could see that would be a very difficult decision. You are only young oncethough and a chance to go to Florence for the summer sounds like the opportunity ofa lifetime”Wendy: “I’m leaning towards going to Italy but I just feel so guilty. What about u Sven. What are your plansfor the summer?”Sven: “well I have a dilemma too. I would love to go to Nepal and volunteer with anNGO that could useme to instruct local residents in engineering skills. Itwould be achance to share what I already know and I think it would be really interesting tospend 4 months in Nepal. However, I don’t find out until next week wheth er or not Ihave been accepted into the program. If I do get accepted I won’t be ma-ki-ng anymoney and I need money to return to university for my final year in September”Wendy: “if you don’t go to Nepal where would you work?”Sven: “I don’t know. I have had some interviews with some construction panies. There are a lot of new high rises and hotels going upin the south side of the city. There were 3 panies thatthought they would have a place for me to do manuallabor and the pay is good. None of the 3 panies are unionized but theyall payunion wages. I would prefer an office job where Icould use the engineering skills Ihave already acquired. I have applied to several panies for inside work but only 2have responded to my applications and neither seems very promising. It would lookmuch better on my resume after I graduate if I had work experience in my field. Alsomany engineeringstudents get hired after they graduate by the pany they workedfor the previous summer”Wendy: “I can see your problem. If I get the opportunity to go to Nepal I wouldprobably go. Cant u borrow money from financial aid for your final year?”Sven: “probably, but I hate to start out with a lot of debt. Engineering fees are risingby 10% next year. It is not an inexpensive faculty to be in”Wendy: “no. but if u have the opportunity to go to an interesting job in Nepal and beof service I think that would be wonderful”Sven: “you are probably right. I appreciate your advice.”附送:双代会演讲稿双代会演讲稿的关注它的发展与变化。
