Hello, I would like to introduce my hometown. I come from Dengfeng, Henan Province, which is regarded as the hometown of Chinese Kongfu because of the world-known Shaolin Temple regarded as the symbol of Dengfeng. Millions of travelers from all over the world visits there and some of them study Shaolin Kungfu there. But aside from the Shaolin Temple, Dengfeng have many other natural sceneries and cultural resources. Songshan Mountain, as the Central Mountain of Five Great Mountains in china, ranks in the world Geopark for it origins from 3.6 billion years ago and have gone through many geological movement. Dengfeng also has a brilliant historical culture with many ancient historical buildings existed such as Songyang academy, Songyue pagoda and Astronomical observation (in Chinese Guanxingtai, China’s existing oldest and most intact astronomical building). They have been inscribed on World Cultural Heritage List.
The people there are very hospitable. There are also many delicious foods, convenient transportation and accommodation facilities. If you have a chance, I hope you can visit there and enjoy a pleasant trip.
