一．Teaching Analysis
本节课教学内容为PEP小学英语四年级下册Unit 3 Weather part A Let’s learn and Let’s chant. 这一单元的主要教学内容是学习形容天气的英语表达, 本课时通过天气预报员预报中国几大城市的气温和天气状况，学习运用warm\ cold\cool\hot这些形容词来表达天气情况。
本课时的单词对多数学生来说并不难，个别同学通过自学就已经掌握了一些重点单词，就是weather report对他们来说有些难度，而且运用方面还不够熟练。

a. 能够听、说、认读单词hot, cold, warm, cool, weather。
b. 能够熟练运用句型It’s warm/cool/hot/cold in Beijing/…来介绍不同地方的天气特征。
c. 培养学生自主学习的能力和合作精神。

1. 重点：能听、说、认读单词weather , warm , cold , hot , cool。
2. 难点：运用新学的单词和句型模拟天气预报。

1. Lead-in
引入weather report.
T: Go to the TV room, watch TV. Now Let’s watch TV together. What can you see？Ss: 天气预报。
T: Yes, it’s weather report.
2. Learn the new word—weather.
a. 利用学过的单词father, mother, brother来学习单词weather的发音。
b. 注意“ea”和“th”的发音。
3. Learn the new word---cold.
a．利用拼读法来学习单词cold。
b. 渗入语音教学。
延伸到其他有相同语音组合的生词：old, told, fold.。
c. 利用chant里面的句型进行单词操练。
5. Learn the new word---warm
a．利用拼读法来学习单词warm。
b. 渗入语音教学。
延伸到其他有相同语音组合的生词：war, ward, sward。
c. 利用chant里面的句型进行单词操练。
6. Learn the new word---cool.
a. 利用拼读法来学习单词cool。
b. 利用图片标记来加深学生对cool 的发音的印象，以此来帮助学生记忆。
7. Learn the new word---hot .
a. 利用拼读法来学习单词hot。
b. 呈现hot的图片
8. 完整呈现句子（复习小结）。
a. 看图填空。
b. 全部朗读。
c. 自读
