①Some people see crimes and then talk to Joe. 一些人目睹了罪行然后告诉Joe.
短语 talk to sb.找某人谈话。

②They t ell him what the criminal looks like.在此句中，结构为tell sb. sth.,其中
him是tell 的直接宾语，而从句what the criminal looks like是tell的间接宾语，所以该从句为宾语从句。

需要注意的是宾语从句应为陈述语序（the criminal为主语+looks like谓语，即为陈述语序）

此处修饰形容词difficult.
sometime,副词，将来某个时候。

④Many people don’t see things the same way so they may describe the same person differently.此处so为连词，表“所以”，引导结果状语从句。

在结果状语从句中，differently 为副词，修饰动词describe.so之前的句子阐述原因，see things可译为“看待事情”。

the same way是状语，表途径，此处可翻译为“用同样的方式”。
