有些粉丝还会把自己喜爱的明星和喜爱的电影里面的经典台词收集起来。
那么，这些明星、角色和台词在英语中都怎么表达呢？看过下文就会知道了。
1. Who is in it?这部电影里都有谁啊？有些人去看某部电影的理由可能不是因为听说哪部电影好看，而是她喜欢的某位大明星在里面担纲演出。
所以对这些人而言，先问清楚"Who is in it?" (这部电影里都有谁？) 远比 "What is the movie about?" (这部电影演什么的？) 来得重要。
反正这个世界上本来就是青菜萝卜，各有所爱。
至于讲到大明星在电影里扮演什么样的角色，通常用的是 play 这个词，例如"Tom Cruise plays a young Navy pilot in Top Gun." (在《捍卫战士》中汤姆·克鲁斯扮演一位年轻的海军飞行员。
) 或是 "Tom Cruise stars in Top Gun as a young Navy pilot."也可以。
另外 star 这个词非常好用，例如有时候我提到一部电影时，想顺便提一下主演的男女主角的名字，以帮助对方回忆，例如同样是 Top Gun 这部片子，要是我光说 Top Gun，别人可能还想不起来是哪部片子，但如果我说"Top Gun starring Tom Cruise was one of the best movies in the 80s." (由汤姆·克鲁斯主演《捍卫战士》是 80 年代最好的电影之一。
) 别人可能因为听到 Tom Cruise 的名字而一下子就回想起来了，注意本句当中starring Tom Cruise 的用法。
2. Do you remember the line by Mel Gibson in Braveheart?你记得在《勇敢的心》里梅尔·吉布森的那句台词吗？Line 指的就是演员的一句台词，一句好的台词常可以让观众津津乐道、回味无穷。
例如 Titanic 里经典的台词"You jump, I jump."，我想大家一定都不陌生。
另外下列的句子在跟老美讨论电影内容时也常常可以听到："Do you remember the line by Mel Gibson in Braveheart?" "He was like, 'Freedom!', at the end of the movie." (他在剧终前说了一句好像是 Freedom! 之类的话)，你的回答就可以是：Yes, that was a good line. (是的，那是一句非常棒的台词。
)3. Let's go see matinee movies and save a few bucks.我们去看早场的电影省几块钱吧。
讲到去"看电影"，老美口语的用法相当地多，例如 see a movie 或是 catch a movie，都是十分常见的用法。
有时老美也讲 go to a movie 或是 go to the movies同样也很普遍。
另外有时候老美也会用 flick 这个词来代替 movie，同样指的是电影。
例如你可以跟老美说："Do you want to catch a flick with us?" (你想不想跟我们去看电影啊？)Matinee指的是早场的电影，通常在 5:30 pm 之前播出的电影都算 matinee。
如果你看过美国电影院的节目表，上面有个打括号的放映时间，例如 (1:00) 就是 matinee，表示这场电影是下午 1:00 pm 播放的。
但如果是 1:00 则比较有可能是凌晨 1:00 am 放映的。
