面试之前（一）尽力设法找寻所欲谋求行业的资料，了解你要面试单位的大致发展情况，以便先达到知已知彼的地步。
为此，你可以向下列人员或部门咨询：1、学校辅导人员。
你认识的教师以及教师为你推荐的有关的专业教师。
2、父母、朋友与亲戚。
亲友的社会经验可能比你丰富，信息来源可能更多、更广。
向他们咨询，必定会得到热心的帮助。
3、所欲谋求工作的从业人员。
他（她）们对本行业、本职业可能已驾轻就熟，是最好的咨询对象。
4、各行各业的资料。
这可以从大图书馆、职业介绍所、劳动人事等部门、机关获得。
一般来说，它们都备有这方面详尽的档案材料，并有一定专业人员负责。
（二）检查自己是否具有必备的条件。
有些行业、职业在学历、能力、年龄、性别等各面都有一定的限制。
事先查核自己的条件是否符合，不要存在着碰运气的念头，这是对己、对人认真负责的态度，于己于人都有利。
（三）倘若你获得面试的通知，而你所谋求的工作需要某种特殊的知识或技能，在你面试时，你极可能会被问到某一方面的问题，或要你当场作测验，以衡量你的知识或能力，如打字的速度，操作机器的能力，用算盘计算的准确性和速度等。
遇到这种情形，你最好事先温习这方西的知识，练习有关的技能。
（四）对你要面试的场所和时间一定要了然于胸，并在约定的时间五至十分钟前到达，切不可迟到。
（五）衣着要整洁得体，避免穿太亮或花色的衣服，紧身衣裤或牛仔装；女性穿着尤为要得体，化妆不宜大浓，且忌露轻浮的举止。
（六）留意把指甲修剪整齐，干净，头发梳洗干净整齐。
鞋子擦亮、不沾泥沙。
但应避免穿太时髦的鞋子。
（七）如果可能的话，明白主试者或约谈者的姓名，并且要能正确他说出他们的姓氏。
外国人的名字有时很不容易发得准确，宜事先查出正确的发音，以免在主试者面前闹出笑话。
（八）若是见报纸广告前往应试者，须检查所携带的资料文件等是否齐全。
预先准备在面谈对回答有关招聘广告的问题（如几月几日见报、内容等），以及回答求职信或简历表的内容，即个人对自己的资料能倒背如流。
（九）携带文凭、推荐函等文件以便主试人查阅，并留意把这些文件有条不紊地折叠起来。
以免临场慌乱，给主试者造成不好的心理感觉。
（十）尽量避免和父母、朋友及其他亲戚同去面试，以免给主试者造成一种信心不足、缺乏独立行事的不良印象。
在进入面试房间前，先深吸一口气，镇静地有信心地步入。
面试前的准备工作成功与否是你面试成功的一个前提条件，但不是决定条件；所以准备充分固然为上策，但因为事情紧急，匆促上阵；靠临场发挥，有时也可能取胜。
但是，“不打无把握之仗”已成了军事指挥家共同的信念，所以，优秀的求职者总是非常重视面试前的准备工作。
可以说，好的面试准备工作已是你面试取得成功的一半。
面试准备中的关键问题面试是求职过程的高潮，若不准备妥当，很容易功亏一篑。
面试的目标是在规定的时间内，说服主试者，令他们认为你是最合适的求职者，决定录取你。

面试时，主试者与应试者一直互相影响，应试者既要了解对方为何如此表现，又要懂得主动影响气氛。
主试者可能故意采取不寻常的态度，例如具有侵略性、彼此不协调、不认真、过分友善等，应试者应有心理准备，才能应付得宜。
在面试之前一段时间内，应该做好种种准备工作，包括了解自己、了解整个行业、了解未来雇主、了解申请那份职位的情况、写履历表、掌握面试技巧等。
了解自己包括：认识自己的长处短处、兴趣、就业倾向、人生目标。
办法有多种，例如跟家人好友倾谈、跟老师或辅导员讨论、访问青年就业指导组、接受心理测验。
了解本行的办法有多种，例如请教行内资深人士、查询专业期刊、留意煤介报道。
了解顾主的办法也有多种，例如查阅年报、请教该机构雇员。
写履历表不能草率，要懂技巧，面试时要温习熟知内容。

面试的装扮要精心设计。
面试时带的物件要小心计划。
