I. Self- introduction
1. Wave hands to the children, and say hello to them: Hello, I’m Miss。。。.
II. Presentation
1.Wave cheerfully saying: Hello! Hi!
2.Ask the pupils to respond with hello or hi.
3.Greet the pupils with Good morning.Ask them to respond by echoing me.
III. Practice
1.Play the CAI.Ask the pupils to listen and repeat.
2.Point to the speech bubbles and read after the tape.
3.Ask the pupils to greet with their partners.Then ask some pairs to come to the front and show it all the class.

Since the pupils in grade 1 know nothing about the rules which they should obey in class, nearly all of them just can’t concentrate in class. Therefore, the way to get their attention is the main problem to be solved in the first lesson.
