一个国产平面设计师的自白

一个国产平面设计师的自白来源:陈坚潮的日志在大英百科全书上对设计的定义是“有目的、有计划、设想通过视觉的形式传达出来的活动过程”。

因此我把设计分为两大类,一类叫艺术设计,一类叫商业设计。

艺术设计是人思想的一种视觉表现,他的出发点是围绕人的思想感情。

商业设计是以提高品牌认知度或产品的销量为目的的表现形式。

然而很多人往往把二者混为一谈,以为搞艺术的就理所当然的会做商业设计,他们七彩缤纷的想法被认为是有见地,有创意。

事实上,在中国,艺术设计与商业设计的发展都存在很大的局限。

According to the encyclopedia britannica, the definition of "design" is aactive "with targts, plans and ideas through the visual form send out the process". So I put the design into two categories, on the one hand is art design, on the other hand is commercial design. Art design is one to express someone's mind via visual , he is the starting point of the thoughts and feelings of the people around. The commercial design, is t o enhance the brand recognition or the product sales for the purpose of form. But many people often mix the two up, think of art for the commercial design, they will do colourful idea was thought to be socalled i ntelligent & amazy. In fact, in China, artistic design and commercial design development is put in very big limitation.先谈艺术设计,这是一个追求思想开放,畅所欲言的空间,然而现实中我们真的能够畅所欲言吗?我们真正能够如实的表达个人思想并得到广泛响应吗?时至今日,仍常常一些声音,一些现象在大众媒体上被“和谐"掉。

设计需要媒体的包容。

如果这个社会能够容纳不同的声音,不同的设计主题(前提画面要健康向上)能够得到主办方的承认,那么我相信人们的价值观将会得到改变艺术将更加得到尊重,过去敏感的主题将被赋予丰富的表现空间。

我们的生活将会更加轻松,更加的精彩。

To talk about art design, this is a pursuit of an open mind.speak freely , but actually can we really chating freely? Can we really expressing individual thought and receiving widely response? Nowaday, some sound, some phenomena in the mass media is "harmony" off. Design need media inclusive. If the society can accommodate different voice, different design theme (premise to health up) picture of the organisers admitted that can get, then I believe that people's values will get change art will become more respected, the past sensitive topics will be endowed with rich performance space. Our life will being more privacy & more wond erful.商业设计,在国内似乎发展迅猛,因为广告设计公司随处可见。

但大多数的设计公司只懂得去把设计对象美化,而不能做到优化。

这种设计公司的运作模式前途有限。

老实说,真正为商业而设计就应当理解企业所需,设计师必须了解企业、发现问题、提出解决方案并且将设计任务严谨执行才能得到客户的信任与尊重——设计不能只局限于表现。

设计师必须懂得营销管理与设计表现并重,毫无疑问营销管理系设计师的必修课程。

The commercial design, in home it is seem to developing rapidly, for advertising company existing everywhere. most of the advertising company just embellish the visual. but not solute the problem. the mode of op eration of the future. commercial designers do understanding the requirment, finding the problem, putting forward solutions and planning task execution rigorously. Designers must understand the marketing managem ent and the design performance, it goes without saying that marketing management is essential to commercial design.在本科阶段他们交的是最贵的学费,吸收的却是滞后的美学理论,然后糊里糊涂地临摹、学工艺、学软件等等,我们在一个狭窄的空间里自以为是,我们沉睡在梦中,仿佛外面的世界需要怎样的人才跟我们毫不相干,然而我们还居然认为我们这样做是对的。

学生参加工作后才发现在校所学的知识不够用。

梦想很丰满,现实很骨感。

或许中国社会的机会太多,我们做设计往往显得浮躁。

或许是受社会价值观和山寨文化的影响,所以设计师并不重视原创,或者是现在广告业的恶性竞争白热化,设计师不会为了低廉的设计费静下心来去研究设计。

In the undergraduate stage of the colleage student paying for the most expensive tuition. what they are learning is the antiquity aesthetic theory, which contains copying, manual operation, software, we studying in a narrow space and feeling self-righteousness, colleage student sleeping in the dream, as if what the career needing is nothing on them, but to our surprise, they believed that is right. when the student participatin g in the career, they find that they have got vain of learning. Dreams are very beautiful, reality is ruthless. Perhaps China's social have many opportunities, we do often seem blundering design. Perhaps is influence d by social values and the influence of the copy culture, so designer did not pay attention to the innovation, for the intensified competition in advertising industry subjecting to low cost?很庆幸,到现在我还有梦想,并且我还有机会朝着它奔跑,所以我觉得我还没老。

在中国这个半开放的“神奇的国度”,无论是对于艺术设计还是商业设计,我都会同样重视,就像热爱生活和热爱工作一样。

当然还有综合能力的提升,毕竟过去做设计锻炼的是“眼”。

今后在锻炼眼的同时,更重要是锻炼“脑”,毕竟卓有成效的设计不只是能在视觉上讨好客户,更重要的是设计背后有系统、前卫和切实可行的策划方案作支撑。

我希望能结合自身设计专业的优势,把策划方案更好地落实于设计。

达到提升品牌价值和产品销量增长的目的。

我们要重视脑的价值,它才会有发展的潜力,希望有一天,我的“脑”跟“眼”都能锻炼到一定的水准,我的脑所想到的创意,就是我通过眼所表达出来的设计。

Very glad to now I still have ambition, and I still have a chance to trace it, so think i am still young & vigor. In China, the half open "magical land", both the art design & commercial design, should be concern hi ghtly. of course the integrated ability is vital either. after all, in the past what we are trained on "visual of the design". From now on, the important exercise is training our "brain", nevertheless, I believe that,an eff ective design, not only to commit the client's suggestion via their visual determining, but also contain amarketing strategy of exhaustive & feasible. i have picked up certain marketing knowledge and hoping to combi ne the advantages of my visual design expertise, to cnhance the brand value & improve the sales.第一章设计者宣言从早年的黑搞时期到现在的电脑时代,不论工具如何改变,但请大家(尤其是新入行的广告人)切记,尺、铅笔、马克笔、电脑...这些都只不过是工具,一种用于实施你想法的工具,千万不可用工具来思考,因为这样只会狭隘你的思路。
