《基础英语Ⅰ》课程教学大纲课程编码:12020401H106课程性质:专业必修课学分:2.5课时:42开课学期:1适用专业:国际经济与贸易(联合)一、课程简介本课程是大学生的一门必修的基础课程和学位课程,主要是为修完中学英语进入大学阶段学习的学生所开设的。
本课程是以培养学生掌握英语语言知识和学习策略,发展英语应用能力和跨文化交际能力主要内容,同时着眼于学生学术能力的培养。
本课程是以外语教学理论为指导,集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。
后续课程有《基础英语Ⅱ》。
二、教学目标本课程的教学目的就是通过学习,培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习能力,提高综合文化素养,以适应教育国际化、社会经济和国际交流的需要。
通过本课程的教学应实现以下目标:词汇:掌握的词汇量应达到2400个单词和400个词组(含中学应掌握的词汇),其中 1400个单词为积极词汇,即要求学生能够在认知的基础上学会熟练运用,包括口头和书面表达两个方面;语法:掌握英语语法的基本词法和句法,主要包括动词的时态、语态、动词非谓语形式的基本用法,形容词和副词的级以及简单句和复合句的结构等;听力理解能力:能听懂英语讲课及简短会话和谈话,抓住文章中心思想和段落大意。
对题材熟悉、句子结构简单、基本上没生词、语速每分钟为120词的听力材料,2 遍可以听懂,理解准确率达 70%为合格;口语表达能力:学会基本的课堂用语和日常用语,能用英语提问并回答教师就课文提出的问题;能就教材内容及熟悉的话题进行小组讨论,并作简短的发言;阅读理解能力:掌握基本的阅读技能。
能读懂语言难度一般的普通题材的文章,运用学到的词汇和语法结构正确理解与课文难度相仿的文章,掌握中心大意以及说明中心大意的事实和细节,一般阅读速度达到每分钟60词。
在阅读篇幅较长、难度略低、生词不超过总词数3%的材料时,能理解文章中心大意。
抓住主要事实和有关细节,阅读速度达到每分钟 80 词;书面表达能力:能根据所学课文做笔记、回答问题、完成提纲和填写表格,能就所学内容在半小时内写出100词左右的短文。
内容比较连贯,用词和语法基本正确;翻译能力:能翻译难度低于课文的英语文章,理解正确,译文基本达意,译速每小时250英语词。
能译出句子结构比较简单的汉语,译文达意,基本无重大语言错误,译速每小时 200 汉字。
