A：thank you so much, please be seated.B：thank you, and now ladies and gentleman, please allow me to introduce the rules of the competition. There are 2 separate rounds. The first round is presentation and interview, and the second round is debate.A: 比赛共分两场，第一场为“现场描述”和“情景交流”两部分，第二场为“正反方辩论”。
B: In the presentation section, each contestant will choose a picture and then give an introduction of it. Time limit is 3 minutes. A bell will sound when time is up.A: 现场描述：参赛者抽取一副表现某一情景的图画、图表、广告等，根据给出的说明进行口头描述。
陈述时间为3分钟。
时间用尽时，会有响铃提醒。
B: In the interview section, each contestant chooses a topic and will have a one-on-one conversation with our host. Time limit is also 3 minutes. A bell will sound when time is up.A: 情景交流：参赛者抽取一个题目，由一位主持人对参赛者进行一对一的现场交谈。
交流时间为3分钟。
时间用尽时，也会有响铃提醒。
B: In the debate section, contestants who make it into this round will draw lots and pair with each other to have a debate.A: 正反辩论：进入第二场的参赛者抽签分组，每两人一组进行辩论。
B: 下面我们来看一下比赛评分标准。
A：Now the evaluation criteria. During each round, the judge will evaluate students in terms of contents, logic, language, response, ideas, etc. The full marks are 10. Each mark will keep two digits behind the decimal point. 6 out of 16 contestants will make it into the second round.B: “现场描述”、“情景交流”和“正反辩论”分别按0分至10分记分，保留到小数点后2位。
评委从内容、条理、语言、应答、观点陈述几个方面评定。
各位评委分别给分，最后取平均分。
16名选手第一轮比赛完后排名前6位的选手直接进入第二轮进行正反辩论。
