验船师在对一艘油船进行新造船检验时发现，其甲板线的位置是以干舷甲板内表面为基准测量的，验船师随即查阅了“1966年国际载重线公约1988年议定书”附则B第4条的规定：The deck line is a horizontal line 300 mm in length and 25 mm in breadth.
