但由于火灾自动化系统(FA -------- Fire Automation System)和保安自动化系统(SA ------- S ecurity Automation System)在行业管理上有许多特殊的规定，所以有时将FA和SA系统从BA系统中独立出来，把建筑弱电系统分为CA、OA、BA、FA、SA等5大类，统称为5A系统。
