民族学专业考试时长为3小时;人类学专业考试时长为1.5小时;社会学专业考试时长为2小时;社会工作专业考试时长为3小时;考古学专业无专业笔试;文物与博物馆专业考试时长为3小时;民族政治学和马克思主义民族理论与政策专业笔试考试时长均为1.5小时，专业笔试只针对调剂考生，一志愿考生只采用综合面试。
专业笔试主要考查考生对本专业基础知识的了解和掌握以及专业知识的应用能力和科研素养方面的内容。
(3)同等学力考生加试同等学力考生、成人高等学历教育应届本科毕业生、自学考试和网络教育于2018年9月1日前可毕业本科生，在复试时须加试两门所报考专业的本科主干课程，具体加试科目另行通知。
考试形式为笔试，每科考试时间3小时，百分制，成绩不计入复试总分。
