实习报告1.The introduction of internship units1.1 The backgroundDuring this summer vacation, I was fortunate to practice in Zhi Yu sunshine school, which is a newly established training institution in Jiangyin City of Jiangsu province. My major is English, and I want to be an English teacher in the future, so with an unparalleled excitement and gratitude, I carried on my one and a half month internship there.Zhi Yu sunshine school is a family education training institution. It offers many courses like Chinese, English, Maths and so on. It aims at the children from grade one to grade nine, teaching in small classes, which means one class can most have six students.1.2 The staff and studentsThere are 12 teachers in Zhi Yu sunshine school, including me. Some of them are college students like me; some of them are teachers in school. The students in Zhi Yu sunshine school are mainly those who want to progress, or to learn the knowledge they will study in next semester in advance.2.Internship content2.1 The description of the jobDuring my internship, I have four main tasks as a teacher in Zhi Yu sunshine school.First, I taught English. My students are from grade three to grade six. I taught them Oxford English except the students who are grade four. Their course is New Concept English.Second, I taught Chinese. My students are the students in grade one and grade three. My task is to teach them how to do reading comprehension and write.Third, every day, I carry their lunch to them from another family education training institution. The way often use about my 20 minutes.Fourth, I always need to get after them to make them sleep a while after lunch.2.2 How to do the jobAs an English teacher, I taught them the words first, and then the texts. You can hear the students are reading the words and the texts after me in the class. Like all the English teachers, I asked the students to recite the words after class and told them I will let them write from memory tomorrow. Of course, I really did.As a Chinese teacher, my plan is as follow. I give them 20 minutes to do one reading comprehension, after that I correct their work. Then I explain their wrong for them. At last, I request them to put their answers right.Every day, the lunch is not enough. I was so surprised that they can eat so much.The boys and girls are so naughty that I should stare at them during the afternoon nap. They are full of energy. They prefer to reading, playing or chatting. I think this job is very difficult because they don’t behave as what I say. They are just not afraid of me.3.What I have learned in internship3.1Internship purposesIn my point of view, the purposes of practice are various. There are there main purposes as follows:First, internship is the important way of combining theory with practice. To apply the systematic theory of knowledge learned in class tentatively to the actual work, and learning the theoretical knowledge of what are the limitations and correct them in later learning. Then observe the distance between the classroom teaching and the actual work and through comprehensive analysis, we can find out the shortcomings in the course of teaching, so as to improve the teaching plans, reform teaching contents and methods to provide practical basis.Second, it is the rehearsal and preparation for employment. Through the internship, a wider range of direct contact with society, we can understand the needs of society, deepen the understanding of society, strengthen the adaptability to society, their integration into society, develop their practical ability, shorten our from a collegestudent to a gap between thought and business staff. Then reach the final purpose: to lay a solid foundation for further towards the society.Third, we can enhance the competitive advantage in finding a job. Now focus of different nature and scale of the company are quite different, the only factor in all companies pay attention to is relevant to the job and apply for the internship experience. So, if there are relevant internship experiences in college, there is a big advantage when looking for a job.3.2 The feeling in the internshipBecause this is my first time to teach students, it makes me a little pressure. I worked as their teacher, always teach them in class. How to teach well, how I can teach them, is an urgent problem I am facing. The first day I came to the class,after all, it was my first time in contact with teaching, I was completely not suited to this method of lecture and felt very nervous.After getting ready for the lesson, I must be hands-on. All the preparations before were just on paper, only real lecture in front of students, dealt with problems that may occur at any time was the final tempering.Moreover, my emotion should not drop down no matter whether children were absorbed or not. If I was not immersed in my class, children who listened to me could not be attracted by me.First, I came to the school to school students the basic situation and the foundatio n all don't know, also did not pay attention to the role of students in my teaching activ ities of importance. I started teaching material books and are constantly paging throug h the material, managed to keep the classroom vivid, and neglected the content of teac hing and students' links, and it didn't pay attention to understand the student's level.Taught in the first lesson, I met a nail. I study plan, according to his with lesson pl ans, a lesson on the vivid and easy to accept that the English lesson. But the problem also came slowly, they began to not afraid I occasionally criticisms of them don’t concentrate in class, a few are still very bold walked under the seat. Gradually I found that there was a problem in my way of teaching, so I started to observe other teachers teaching method but also for guiding the teacher with her to consult how to adjust my teaching method.The guide teacher said each student's personality is different; I need to suit the remedy to the case. This reminds me of the students according to their aptitude. Before the way I treat every student is the same, for several naughty students in our class I don't have a very strict, so that they are ignoring my criticism. So in the teaching of I adopted a reward policy to change our class classroom order. This policy not only makes our classroom orderly, also aroused the enthusiasm they answer the question, so that they produce competition among classmates, stir up their competitive, although they are small, competition is not small.3.3 The experiences in the internshipThrough this internship, I also received a lot of internship experiences:First of all, let the students like English and let the students think English is not difficult. Confidence and interest is the main component of intelligence factors, establish good self-confidence and to develop strong interest will play a positive role in learning English. For a long time, the student has formed a idea that "English is difficult to learn and they can not learn good." It brought the adverse effects to English teaching, the main way to eliminate the psychological barriers is to teach students the correct learning methods. In memory word, for example, you can take a variety of ways to learn, to master its law, let the students according to the can depend on, rules-based, rather than rote memory a certain knowledge. When the students use their learned knowledge to create new knowledge, learning English is not too difficult.Second, let the students believe in themselves and let students understand their learning outcomes. Students must obtain certain achievements by learning, then thestudents will understand their learning may give them results in time. The teacher in the classroom should give students oral answer whatever positive or negative, and timely professional correcting for written work, to let them know that their own progress, so that their learning attitude and methods can be strengthen, their learning enthusiasm can be inspired . At the same time, through feedback effects, it can arouse their desire to do better, to overcome the drawback of the will, efforts to move forward.Third, to cultivate the students' good habitsEveryone has their own study habits which are different from others. Good habits can help a person improve the learning efficiency, make him a lifelong benefit. But the good learning habits demand our accumulation in the usual, maybe through continuous accumulation, maybe good habits can be gradually formed after repeated practice. At the beginning of the students to learn English is a good time to develop good habits, otherwise, some bad habits once formed, it is difficult to change.
