进一步学习提出建议的表达方式,能较为熟练的提出建议,语言使用正确。
通过对课文的学习,了解保护古迹文物的重要意义,并用自己组织的语言,描述阿斯旺大坝的概况。
完成练习册编排的练习。

Ⅱ.课堂教学设计1.Warm-up:向学生提出以下问题,由大家讨论:Suppose your family are on holiday.And you are planning a trip somewhere.Tell me what you might discuss.启发学生热烈讨论,可板书大家提出的问题。
如:1)when to go;2)where to go;3)howto get there ;4)how long to spend there ;5)what to do and see there ;6)what to take ;7)what to buy2.准备放对话录音。
借助投影片打出以下听前提问:1)Where are the family spendingtheir holidays?2)Where is the temple located?放录音一至两遍,请学生回答上述问题,教师予以必要订正。
Key:1)The family are spending their holidays in Egypt.2)The temple is located on theedge of the lake that has been made by the dam.3.再次放对话录音,学生跟读。
将学生分为四人一组练习对话。
数分钟后,请两、三组同学到前面表演。
学生再次默读对话,从对话中找出这一家可能的活动:Ask the students to read the dialogue again and find out possible activities the family doin Aswan:1)stay in a hotel;2)visit the town of Aswan;3)do some shopping;4)visit the HighDam;5)take a boat to visit the temple at Abu Simbel;6)take a boat on the River Nile;7)go for a walk round Aswan after the boat trip4.要求学生将该课对话改写为一篇短文,描写对话中每个人物的打算:提示语:Say something about the different opinions of the Whites on their plan thatday.The family members are:Mr.White;Mrs.White;Bob and Pippa.要求学生根据对话,参照老师所给提示,编写短文。
Model:Pippa prefers to visit the town of Aswan.But he doesn’t feel like walking very muchthat day.He’d like to take a boat on the River Nile and he thinks it’s a lovely windy day.They can see Aswan without walking too much.Mrs.White wants to do some shopping,but not during the day.Maybe they could goshopping in the evenings.Mr.White wants to visit the town of Aswan and he thinks that there are plenty of inter-esting places to visit.Bob wants to visit the High Dam.He has read a lot about it.So he wants very much tosee it with his own eyes.当堂要求学生完成,如时间允许,可请几位同学朗读自己的短文,教师予以讲评。
5.教师指导学生归纳在本课中有关提出建议的常用语句(见日常交际用语部分)。
为学生设计几个郊游活动,启发同学根据自己想象提出安排:1)Suppose we are now going to the Ming Tombs(十三陵);say something about yourplan and arrangement.2)Suppose we’ll go to 勐龙植物园;what are your plans and arrangements?先在小组讨论,然后班上交流。
6.布置作业1)预习第90、91课;2)完成练习册中安排的练习。

之后请同学回答上述问题。
