One of the most influential people in your life
My grandma is one of the most influential people in my life. She’s 87 year-old now. She was born in age of turbulence. She’s gone through a lot. She became a widow at the age of 39, with five children to raise. She teach me a lot. Like her ways to treat others, her ways to face difficulties, her ways to solve problems, and so on. As my parents were busy working, my sister and I were raised up by my grandma. Every time we made mistakes, like being choosy in food, being too playful to have a bath, my grandma would not hit me or scold me, instead, she would give me a warning, like slapping the table forcefully or stared at me coldly, which was more terrible than hitting me. At one time, I was watching TV with my sister, it was my favorite cartoon, but my grandma told me to have a bath, because she had made bathwater, I was unwilling to leave my favorite cartoon, so I pretended not to hear it. Then, my grandma came up and slapped the table forcefully, I smelled the sense of danger, and went to have a bath at once. I thought this why I could do things neat, it was my grandma’s effort!
Apart from teaching me with practical action, my grandma also taught me by infecting me. She’s kind to her friends, when talking with them, she will always be patient. She’s a very loving person, she often buy gadgets for kids. “Their smiles are very beautiful.”That’s her answer to my question. She likes gimcracks, she often buys a lot. “Woman must have the ability to raise herself! So she can do what she like and doesn’t need to beg for man.” she once told me. She’s one of the most important people who made me.
I still have a lot to share with you, but time’s limited, thank’s for your listening!。
