范文示例(柱状图) The charts below give information about USA marriage and divorce rates between 1970 and 2000 and the marital status of adult Americans in two of the years Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
范文解析(线状图) The consumption of chicken, on the other hand, showed an upward trend, overtaking that of lamb in 1980 and that of beef in 1989. By 2004 it had soared to almost 250 grams per person per week.
While in France, the most significant change was in nuclear power, of which the figure soared from 15 units in 1980 to the large amount of 126 in 2000. Yet the natural gas dropped sharply from 25 units in 1980 to only 2 units in 2000.In addition, other resources such as coal and oil remained almost stable around 25 units and the hydro power was still the least source in electricity production, only 5 in 1980 and still 2 in 2000. Overall, it is clear that by 2000 these two countries relied on different principal fuel sources: Australia relied on coal and France on nuclear power.
The second chart is more precise about the different marital status of the Americans between 1970 and 2000. As shown in the graph, the percentage of married people by far outnumbered that of Americans who were in other marital status within 30 years, but the period has experienced the declining trend in the proportion of married population, from about 70% in 1970 to nearly 60% thirty years later, and of the widowed from around 8% to 5%. However, divorced people increased to roughly 9% in 2000 from nearly 2% in 1970,s and when we survey the data of US residents who were never married, there was a 7% increg the two charts, it is very clear that married Americans were the most population through the whole period, 2.5 million or 70% in 1970 and 2 million or up to 60% in 2000. Thus, we have gained an insight into the attitudes of Americans towards marriage and their different statuses in the past decades.
In Australia, the main fuel source for electricity production was coal, which ranked the top one proportion of 50 units in 1980 and 130 units in 2000 respectively. While the second largest source was hydro power which showed a slight increase of 16 units compared to 20 units in 1980 and 36 in 2000. On the contrary, natural gas and oil dropped dramatically in 20 years, ranging from 20 units and 10 units respectively in 1980 to merely the same figure of 2 units in 2000.

The charts compare the sources of electricity in Australia and France in the year of 1980 and 2000. Between these years electricity production almost doubled, rising from 100 to 170 units in Australia and from 90 to 180 units in France.
范文解析(线状图) However, during this 25-year period, the consumption of beef and lamb fell dramatically to approximately 100 grams and 55 grams respectively. The consumption of fish also declined, but much less significantly to just below 50 grams, so although it remained the least popular food, consumption levels were the most stable.

The graph below shows the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The first chart compares the number of marriages and divorces in the US between 1970 and 2000. According to this graph, married Americans remained the same and also the highest level, 2.5million in both 1970 and 1980, and then the number began to decline to roughly 2.3million and continued this downward trend until 2000, when only 1 million residents in the US were married. On the other hand, apart from a sharp rise in the number of divorces in the 1970s, the next two decades witnessed the falling trend, from just below 1.4 million in 1980, to a little more than 1 million in 1990 and exactly 1 million in 2000.
