One of my famous tourist attraction in my hometown is Guishan Han Tomb. there is a saying in travelling industry: "if you want to know the culture in qin dynasty, go to xian, if you want to know the culture in qing dynasty, go to beijing and if you want to know the culture in han dynasty, xuzhou is definitely your best choice. Over 2000 years ago, the King of Kingdom Chu and his wife were buried here. Of couse the tomb is under the ground and there is a pretty long tunnel linking the tomb and the entrance. 30 years ago, local residents found the tomb and many unearthed cultural objects, such as ancient coins, jade plates, silk cloth, stone figures and so on, nearly all of them have been move to Xuzhou Museum which just sits near the tomb exit.In xuzhou, Han Tomb attracts tons of tourists to come and know the unique culture because of not only the tomb itself, but also the beautiful landscape around it. The tomb is surrounded by Yunlong Lake and Yunlong Mountain, which consist of the Guishan Han Tomb Park. I believe Xuzhou Han Tomb is absolutely wealth visiting for everyone.2. I love relaxing lifestyle and I have travelled to many Chinese provinces in china and some other countries.Last summer, my mother, my grandparents and I went to Thailand which is really an amazing place.You know, it was the first time I went abroad. So I got a really remarkable memory of that travelling in my mind. The most famous tourist attraction is the Thai Imperial Palace which is the most gorgeous construction in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.This palace mixes Chinese, European and native architectural styles together. The whole building is decorated with a lot of shiny pearls, shells, colorful glass and gold foil, making it looks like a big piece of gold. In the palace, there are many Buddhist sculptures. Local residents think these statues can protect Thailand from disasters.But this trip is not as good as planed, because I didn't have a chance to see the Lady Boy which can be considered as a must if you visit Thailand, as the Lady Boy is a mysterious and unique culture there.3. Maybe you never heard him. But he is quite famous in my school. I shared accommodation with him. He speaks English very well and used to help me with my English, and we are really good friends. I adore him not only because he can speak english very influently but also because he is an intelligent man, it is said that he was an artist before he came to China and won an international art competition. Last year he went back to Canada which is his hometown. It's a long time since I saw him last time. So I would like to visit him when I go to Canada. You know the school I applied for is located in Vancouver. I am really looking forward to seeing him.4.My grandfather used to take care of me when I was a little boy. He is a very intelligent man and was good at his previous work which was accountant, although he retired several years ago, his company is still using the data my grandfather calculated. By then He was a leader of his company and once saved his coworker's life. so every year when Chinese Spring Festival comes. There are many people come and carry lots of presents to thank him. Besides, he can cook very well and I like what he cooks very much, so I go to his house for lunch everyday. What's more, we often chat and he likes to tell me some old stories.5.I am very addicted to Sushi, Coz sushi is good for health and also very delicious. Last summer, I went to a restaurant which is owned by my neighbour who is a famous cook, i watched him making the Sushi, it was a complicated process, first, the cook boiled the rice; next, used some pieces of seaweed to wrap the rice, and in the middle of rice, he put some vegetables, raw fish and other meat into it; then, cutting the wrapped rice into small pieces, finally, guests can enjoy the it. If I have chance, I want to learn how to cook Sushi. This will be my ideal job. I heard that a cook can get a pretty good salary, besides, when other people like the food I cook, I will gain a great sense of achievement, it is really a win-win situation I am looking for.6. The chocolate DIY shop is a place I really like and often go to. The shop is near my house. When I was a little boy I often spent the whole day in that shop. DIY Chocolate is really interesting. At the beginning, you can just learn the ropes from the Internet, before long, you will find that it is pretty easy to get the trick, then you can go to the real chocolate shop to try. I made a lot of chocolates as gifts to my friends, one of the most impressive one was that I made a heart-shaped chocolate and gave it to my girlfriend on Valentine's Day, I can still remember how surprised and excited she was. Another thing I did was that when I was 8 years old, I made a mouse-shaped chocolate and gave it to my sisteras her birthday gift, but, you know, she was so afraid of mouse. when she opened the gifts and saw the mouse chocolate, she was so frightened that cried immediately.All in all, DIY Chocolate is a leisure activity/hobby from my childhood to adulthood.7. One of my favourite antique is badge of Chairman Mao. the badge is made of silvery metal and printed red color on surface, every one has lots of this badge 30 years ago but only few is preserved in good condition nowadays.most of them have faded but in my grandfather’s home , there are several badges which are quite new.you can see some popular words during that period were carved on the bedge surface, such as Long live the great leader, Chairman Mao! it is very ridiculous if we look back these words nowadays, but at that time ,people say this from their heart. besides ,these badges are witness of history,it can tell the next generation to cherish life.。
