第二课时：实行拓展阅读。回顾第一课时新闻各个要素，学生对所给的同一话题的两篇不同新闻（未给出Body part）先实行合理的推断，并之后对Body part实行分析理解，小组合作设计阅读理解题且各小组间给予评价；另外，对比分析这两篇新闻的描写，观点等异同。（着重培养学生的思维品质，尤其是分析推断水平，对比分析水平以及评价水平）
