Ask students to compare these two pieces of news story in different aspects.
Give the body parts and ask students to design.
Organize students to have a group discussion.
Read the titles and leads of the news story and predict what will be mentioned in the body part in the form of questions.
Present the designed questions and answer other groups’.
Give an evaluation on the designed questions and select the best.
合作探究从出题角度来进一步理解文本,培养一定的评价判断的思维水平。
第三课时:结合新闻报道的事件描写,学生能迁移性地分析读后续写的故事脉络以及掌握一定的环境描写,心理描写,动作描写等来实行读后续写。(以读促写培养读后续写的写作水平。)
学习重难点
重点:学生能了解新闻的基本要素及特点,分析新闻题材的文章。
难点:学生基于事件描写并能迁移性地分析读后续写的故事脉络,实行读后续写。
Guide students to find out the features and elements in news.
Skim the passage and find out the genre of the Reading in M2U1.
Have a group discussion about the features and summarize the elements in news:Title, Lead and Body.
Read the body part and check whether their prediction is right.
Choose one of them, and have a group discussion to design the questions about reading comprehension.

Invite some groups to present the questions they designed and ask other groups to answer.
Organize students to give an evaluation on the designed questions.
第二课时:实行拓展阅读。回顾第一课时新闻各个要素,学生对所给的同一话题的两篇不同新闻(未给出Body part)先实行合理的推断,并之后对Body part实行分析理解,小组合作设计阅读理解题且各小组间给予评价;另外,对比分析这两篇新闻的描写,观点等异同。(着重培养学生的思维品质,尤其是分析推断水平,对比分析水平以及评价水平)

Ask students to finish three parts of reading comprehensions concerning the Body part.

第一课时:学生能掌握新闻报道的各个要素(Title,Lead以及Body part)及特点,同时使用skimming以及scanning的阅读策略理解该文本且学生对本话题提出自己的看法和观点。(培养学生的阅读水平和理性表达自己观点的水平)
