Background
蚌埠自古乃“采珠之地”，又称“珠城”。蚌埠位于安徽省 东北部，淮河中游，蚌埠处于长江三角洲及沿江技术经济直 接辐射范围内，是皖北乃至中原地区重要的加工、商贸、科 技中心。也是联系长江三角洲各大城市与华北、东北、中原
Bengbu is a key transit hub city in Anhui Province, and a Class II transit hub city of the nation; on a node position of Beijing-Shanghai Express Railway, which running across Huai River at Bengbu, with 3 hours and 2 hours distance from Beijing and Shanghai respectively; the largest harbor along Huai River.

和西北等经济区的纽带。
蚌埠是安徽省重要的综合交通枢纽城市，也是国家二级交通 枢纽城市。京沪铁路和千里淮河在此交汇，是建设中的京沪 高速铁路重点布局站点，高铁通达北京和上海仅需 3小时和 2个小时。而蚌埠港也是千里淮河第一大港。
龙子湖景区概况
北部公园所处的龙子湖是安徽蚌埠最大的景观湖泊，整个景 区总面积约38.9平方公里。
龙子湖环湖分布着丰富的人文自然资源。龙子湖景区是未来 新区生态型滨水城市的所在地。
Bengbu City
Bengbu was named “pearl city”; It is located in the northeast of Anhui Province, middle reach of Huai River, within Yangtze River Delta Region and the spreading scope of coastal technology and economy; a key manufacture, commercial and technical center of North Anhui and even Central China; a connection hub of big cities of Yangtze River Delta Region and economic regions of Northern China, Northeast China, Central China, Northwest China.
