UC520: Overview – Cisco SBCS Components
UC500
– Voice Appliance that includes functionality of Call Processing, Voice Processing, Switching, VPN, Firewall and Wireless (optional).
WAN - 10/100 Ethernet Uplink port. Can be connected to DSL Router, Cable Modem or an ISR. Built-in 4 FXS - 4 FXS ports can be used to connect analog phones or fax machines. FXO or BRI - Base Model is available in either a 4-FXO configuration or a 2-BRI configuration. VIC Slot - A number of voice cards are supported for PSTN and analog phone. DID is supported. Wi-Fi - Optional 802.11b/g integrated Access Point can provide 54Mbps WLAN connectivity for data

Scales with Catalyst Express (CE)520 Companion Switches
– CE520 Companion Switches are recommended, but the solution can scale with any switch. – User licenses are included in the base system SKU.
