纵横大海数十载，笔者有机会与数十付报务员风雨同舟。
而与报务员雷鸣同船工作的一次西非之旅，令人铭心刻骨，难以忘怀。
1989年仲夏.笔者奉命接任日轮船长，完成由上海装载8 aoo吨大米出发，辗转香港、新加坡，跨越印度洋绕过好望角.入大西洋去西非尼日利亚拉格斯等港，一路加载、卸货然后从两非辗转北上地中海的环球航次任务。
