2. Orange Island
A walk across the No. 1 Bridge over the Xiangjiang River, just opposite the Yuelu scenic area is the Orange Island. In midstream of the Xiangjiang River, it runs almost the entire length of the city and gets the name for its long and narrow sandbank. The Orange Island, formed in the 305 AD and got its name in the six century, from the poem of famous poet in Tang Dynasty, "the field of Orange Island is still fertile".

1. Yuelu Mountain
Yuelu Mountain, which means the foot of Mount Hengshan (Southern Mountain), is located on the west bank of Xiangjiang River and lies in the west of Changsha City. It's a highly reputable scenic area in Hunan Province, an area that enables you to have a much clearer understanding of Changsha City once you have paid a visit to Yuelu Mountain. The landscape is mainly composed of Lushan Mountain and the nearby rivers, ponds, plants and animals gardens and personnel landscape.

1. Fire Palace
In the central part of Pozi Jie Street, there is an eyecatching palace building, which was originally a temple where people offered oblation for a fire deity. Later, it becomes a gathering place for people and each year on the Fire Deity Day, they will hold sacrifice ceremony, temple fairs and other activities. Changsha sits at the northeast of Hunan Province in south-central China. It is known for its warm climate and is the economic and political capital of Hunan. Being the political and economic center in Hunan, Changsha is quite a large place occupying land of 11,800 sq. km. With a population of 5.63 million, Changsha is among the first group of Chinese cities which were selected as famous historical and cultural cities in the country and allowed to open-up to the outside world. Thus, it has become an important city in central China enjoying the fastest economic growth and immense vitality.

3. Hunan Provincial Museum
Hunan Provincial Museum is located on No. 50, Dongfeng Lu, Changsha City, next to the Revolutionary Martyr's Park. It covers an area of 50,000 square meters (about 12.2 acres) with a construction area of 20,000 square meters (about 4.9 acres). First built in 1951, the museum was open to the public in July 1974. It has gathered together most curios unearthed in Hunan Province, unfolding the cultural development of Hunan Province throughout thousands of years.
4. Tianxin Pavilion
Changsha is a city with long history, so there are some historic sites and Tianxin Pavilion is one of them. Tianxin Pavilion is a pavilion standing on the ancient walls. It has been famous in Hunan area since ancient times. Tianxin Pavilionis located on the ancient rampart of Changsha. It was built by the general of the army Yang Xi in 1746, the 11th year of Qianlong Period in Qing Dynasty.
