上海大学管理学院学术期刊认定标准（讨论稿）在2012年教育部发展中心学科评估中，上海大学管理科学与工程博士点一级学科及工商管理硕士点一级学科的排名均有不同程度下滑。
为了加快提升学科建设水平，从重数量向重质量逐步转变，鼓励教师发表高水平的学术论文，在原有期刊分级标准的基础上进行了调整。
新的标准主要借鉴国际上通行的“UTD-24国际顶级管理类期刊列表”、“FT-45国际顶级经济管理类期刊列表”、以及国内著名商学院认定的“管理类国际期刊A-B-C分级表”。
