Conjunctive Adverbs “float”
• Conjunctive adverbs are sometimes called “floating” adverbs because they can be positioned at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of a clause.
Tom swims, and Mary plays tennis.
Comma before “and” in compound sentences!
