整体设计说明
本课选自高一必修三unit3 The million pound bank note,是一堂阅读教学。以百万英镑的故事为话题的英语剧本,由于学生第一次接触,因此有必要让学生了解作者马克吐温的(戏剧的)写作风格与特点,本文的主线是围绕着what would you do with so much money?-what did Henry do – if you are Henry, what would do?-从而得出Henry的品质特点-对学生的情感体验与升华。导入Free talk教师先自我介绍-认识学生-引导学生提问, Quick-answer game:听电影主题歌猜电影名称,电影名最后一个歌曲是million pound bank note插曲; pre-reading介绍几种货币,引入课题,介绍作者及2篇主要的文学作品;while-reading: task1 scanning了解戏剧要素,主要角色分析,简单复述故事梗概;task 2 skimming回答问题,判断;post-reading:讨论henry’s personalities 2个半开放性问题供学生思考。
