Stud ents are provid ed with intensive training in both acad emic theories and skills practice in multidisciplinary subjects. They woul d l earn how to integrate and apply acad emic knowl edge and skills into real-life situations within the social work context.本专业为第一学历为非社会工作专业的学生提供专业训练，使他们可以发展自己在社会服务领域的职业方向。
学生将受到在理论与技巧实践双方面的密集型训练，理论和实践包含多种学科。
目的为了使学生可以学习如何将所学的知识与技巧整合并应用到社会工作的现实情况当中，2.Mode of Study （修课模式）2-year full-time programme 全日制两年3-year part-time programme 兼职三年3.Programme Structure （学科架构）The curriculum involves two-year full-time or three-year part-time study. It will provide students with solid academic knowledge and professional skills for competent social work practice upon graduation.课程包括两年全日制学习和三年兼职学习两种模式。
通过为学生提供可靠的理论知识与专业技巧，使学生能够在毕业时充分掌握并具备较强的社会工作实务能力。
Students are required to take ten core courses to strengthen their basic knowledge in social work. These foundational courses include theory and practice of social work, social work research, social policy, social science theories, human behavior and social environment, abnormal psychology, law and social work, management of social services and practice training.学生必须修满10门必修课程来强化他们的社会工作基础知识。
这些基础课程包括社会工作理论与实务，社会工作调查研究，社会政策，社会学科理论，人类行为与社会环境，变态心理学，法律与社会工作，社会服务管理与实务培训。
To further enhance the students’ professional skills and academic knowledge, the students are required to take two practice electives为了进一步丰富专业技巧与理论知识，学生还必须要选择两个不同领域的实务选修课。
Apart from academic studies and professional skills training, students have to complete 900 hours of field placement under the supervision of qualified and experienced social workers. They also have to complete a dissertation (or two additional electives) for graduation. Details of the curriculum design are listed as follows:除此之外，学生还必须在社会工作专业督导的跟进下完成900个小时的实习。

课程设计列表如下：+++4.Admission 入学资格To be eligibl e for admission to the courses leading to the d egree of Master of Social Work, candidates预申请本校社会工作硕士的申请者，须首先满足以下条件（a, b, c, d同时满足）：(a)shall hol d取得学位（i, ii至少满足一种）i. a Bachelor’s d egree with honours of this University; or获得本学校的学士学位；或ii.another qualification of equivalent standard from this University or from another University or comparabl e institution accepted for this purpose;and获得其他具有同等资格的大学学士学历或其他有资历的机构认可的相关学历。

●Overseas Placement 海外实习基地Students are required to complete two placements during their studies. Students can take local placement under the supervision of a team of professional and experienced fieldwork instructors. Students pursuing international exposure also have the opportunity to take overseas placement through the Departmental extensive network with various overseas institutes.学生必须要在学习期间完成两次的实习。
