Joe Hisaishi is best
known for his work with animator Hayao Miyazaki（宫崎 骏),having composed scores for many of his films including Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984)（风之 谷),Laputa:Castle in the Sky(1986)(天空之城），My Neighbor Totoro (1988)（龙猫), Kiki's Delivery Service(1991) （魔女宅急便),Princess Mononoke (1997)（幽灵公主）, Spirited Away (2001)（千与千 寻）, Howl's Moving Castle (2004)（哈尔的移动城堡） and Ponyo (2008)（悬崖上的金鱼 姬）.
