Two senior managers of BYD, Si Shaoqing (司少卿) and Liu Xiangjun (柳向军), were convicted in March and April 2008 with the evidence provided by Beijing JZSC. However, BYD declared that these individuals were no longer its employees when they were sentenced and that the company had not been involved in their criminal acts.
