童谣贝多芬作曲——欢乐颂
《欢乐颂》，又称《快乐颂》(德语为Ode an die Freude)，是在1785年由德国诗人席勒所写的诗歌。贝多芬为之谱曲，成为他的第九交响曲第四乐章的主要部份，包含四独立声部、合唱、乐团。而这由贝多芬所谱曲的音乐(不包含文字)成为了现今欧洲联盟的盟歌。
作品大约创作于1819到1824年间，是贝多芬全部音乐创作生涯的最高峰和总 结。1=F调，4/4拍。这是一首庞大的变奏曲，充满了庄严的宗教色彩，气势辉煌，是人声与交响乐队合作的典范之作。通过对这个主题的多次变奏，乐曲最后达到高潮，也达到了贝多芬音乐创作的最高峰。乐章的重唱和独唱部分还充分发挥了四位演唱者各个音区的特色。
席勒的《欢乐颂》，因贝多芬的第九(合唱)交响曲而为人所知。贝多芬22岁时(1792年)就有把这首长诗全部加以谱曲的想法，但当他53岁完成第九交响曲时(1823年)，他仅挑选了诗的第一节、第二节前半、第三节和第四节的后半作为末乐章的歌词。
