The auditors suggested that she should attend N4 classes. So she went to the auditorium where MA was giving classes, whose voice was so loud that even an audiometer may fail to measure it. Even without a microphone, he could make himself heard just like talking through a megaphone. His voice was such an euphony that Hanmeimei wanted to record it in a phonograph. Though a little bit monotonous, not at all dissonant. In the end president Hu delivered a speech in a sonorous voice, the intonation was perfect. But Hanmeimei couldn’t understand it at all, because it was a speech with serious undertones.3说dictWhen Hanmeimei was in high school, the thing she hated most had been dictation, the teacher who dictated to the students what to write was like a “dictator”. Hanmeimei really wanted to indict him for crimes against humanity, or give a speech of sedition to turn all the students against the teacher. But she knew she had no jurisdiction at school. All she could do was to utter a malediction: xxxxxxxx unfortunately it was heard by the teacher. The result was unwatchable, the dictator questioned her, Han wanted to vindicate herself with excuses, like I left my dictionary at home, but she didn’t. The teacher gave her last benediction: wish you good luck in your examination. At that night, Han had a dream: an edict from the government banned dictation from school forever.4 说doc+faHanmeimei once wanted to be a docent in the Imperial Palace, because she thought an affable and docile girl as she was, would be perfect for such a job. And you only had to memorize the documents of the items and tell tales and fables about them. But she didn’t know that it was such a fabulous job that thousands of people were after it. She was indoctrinated with the ideas that the world was pure and simple. So she had no idea about “the ineffable rules” and the nefarious combats for this hot job. After confabulating with some inners, Hanmeimei gave up this dream and turned her direction to education which was a job to become a doctrinaire and to indoctrinate others.5 说fan fam logThe marriage between Hanmeimei and Lilei was planted since their infancy; this was the prologue of their romance. But they didn’t know each other until fate threw them together in that drama show: Romeo and Juliet. Lilei was doing his monologue, so eloquent ly that Han fell in love with him instantly. Lilei was a great orator; even the most inexorable girl would fall for his oration of vocal love. So it provoked Lilei greatly when Han declined her proposal. When lilei was informed with the truth, as an advocate of modern science, he invoked the law of Newton to persuade Hanmeimei there was no such thing as oracle, hoping to make her revoke the refusal. Hanmeimei did, and married lilei. And Hanmeimei was trilingual, she could speak mandarin, Cantonese, and a little English, but she wished to be a multilingual like linguist master Lin Yutang, so she practiced a third language every day until she got ulcer sublingually. However she was negligent in choosing the right language, she was learning Japanese. Some intellectuals said that it was a sacrilege to human brain. But Han thought an intelligent girl like her should tell the difference between patriotism and language. Thus she considered those rebukes as negligible obstacle and continued his Japanese learning. She asked her teacher for some readable Japanese novels, sadly, the teacher told her that her book were all aged and dog-eared so the writings were notintelligible and the book was not legible. It put her in introspection about herself and gave her a new perspective on a wide spectrum of things, like who could be truly reliable, what was real and what was fake. The first detector of that was Lily, who was the gossip queen and a famous detective for romance thus had coverage of every relationship in school; of course she uncovered the secret to the supervisor. He warned Han and Li that if they continued their affair, they would get expelled in no time. Hardly recover ing from the shock, they found that their parents were informed, at that time the only thing they wished to have was a hard tegument.13:食vor+dentHanmeimei was good at biology in high school, she knew that tiger was carnivorous, sheep was herbivorous, we human beings are omnivorous, she even knew that anteater was edentate and monkey cup was insectivorous plant. However, there was one thing that Han always feared to mention, she was a voracious eater, she could devour a whole chicken leg in less than half a minute, to make things worse, she never used dental floss after her gluttony, now she have to see the dentis t frequently for dental diseases, for example, decayed teeth. And she believed that when she reached seventy she would lose all her teeth and have to rely on dentures.Hanmeimei was not a domestic girl; she got ambitions, after she saw the pictures of domes on top of the church in west countries, she was determined to study overseas. She chose economics as her major and wanted to be an economist who she thought would help to boost the global economy, but the 2008 economic crisis made her realize that economists were impotent in the real world, they even were not economical enough to make ends meet. Han herself was a good example, she always spent more than she had, and was the poorest in her dormitory. So she quit her economic dream, and tried to be more domesticated and ladylike. But she only kept dormant for less than a month, and returned to her big ambition, but this time was different, she studied ecology.Hanmeimei’s first job was at grass-roots level where she worked as a teaching instructor in a small village located in the west part of china. At that time, the country strongly advocated the construction of a new socialist countryside, so you could see infrastructures schools, public parks, were under construction everywhere. The village was designed to receive the people from the relocation caused by the Three Gorges Dam. So the priority of Han’s job was to make those new residents localized. According to the tradition of their antecedents, the precedent son-in-laws were all scholars, to have Lilei, a mechanical engineer, as Han’s husband would be a recession of the family. Thus they warned Hanmeimei, if she married that degraded worker, she would have no access to the family legacy. Thanks to the intercession of the relatives, the parents finally made a concession to end this dispute, but they also wanted Lilei to accede to the request that their children would carry on the family name as Han, which meant that lilei had to cede hispatriarchy to Hanmeimei.
