My view on college romanceWhen we are in middle school, the romance between boys and girls is banned by parents and school. On the one hand the adults believe that we are not old enough, on the other hand they think the so called romance will influence teenagers’ study, especially the review to the college entrance examination, so just they ban it without a second thought.But when we are in college, college romance becomes more natural. Mostly college romance begins even when we are not aware of it. People always say college is a place which is full of magical atmosphere of youth, passion and dream. And love is one of these magical atmosphere. So it’s not difficult to understand why so many students fall in love so quickly, naturally and deeply.In some way the college love can be seen as a way to grow up, it’s also a chance to learn how to communicate with and take care of others. When we are lost in love deeply, the feeling of love in the bottom of our hearts will make our life more colorful because we finally know we should do something to make our lover happy. And most of these things, I have to say, have not been done by us before, and it is just this fresh feeling that makes us glad.There are some disadvantages of college romance, too. Some students find love just because they want to get rid of loneliness, so they do not love each other truly and sincerely. As a result of this thought, both of the two may hurt each other in the aspect of emotion when they split up. What’s more, college love calls for lots of money and time, if students can not deal with them in a proper way, then they’ll just mess their life up.In a word, I’m positive about college love as long as it develops naturally and in a healthy way.How to give complimentsGiving compliments in life is not as easy as we think, in some way, it is a kind of wisdom which needs lots of knowledge and shills. After my research on this subject, I dare say I can give some useful tips that can help people make it easier to pay compliments.First of all, if someone wants to praise others, no matter what way he uses, he should be genuine. Remember that honesty is one of the precious qualities we ought to be equipped with for good. We should never exaggerate others’ achievements and merits, or we will just fail to give any compliment.In addition to our sincere attitude, we’re supposed to be clear that the language we use to give compliments should be specific and appropriate. What’s more, if the person you want to praise isn’t in a good mood, then you’d better stop and do it next time.That’s all my tips, and I really hope they can work even in a small degree.My ideal jobEverybody has a dream when he or she is young and most of us have answered questions like” What do you want to do when you grow up?” or something like that in our childhood. No matter what answers we have given, what I want to say is that our dream does not equal to our ideal job in reality. Our ideal job is something ideal that we hope to use to live in a more comfortable way, but our dream is something which we can spare no efforts to achieve. They are totally two different concepts in fact.Speaking of my ideal job, then I have to say I’m eager to become a clinical doctor. Everyone gets ill in the process of life no matter what identity he has and doctors are the kind of people who provide patients with treatment and medical care. By these efforts, I believe I can make my ideal job real in the future.My favorite starPeople always get excited when it comes to their favorite star, but my favorite star is a little different compared with other people’s favorite star. My best-loved star is not a single person, in fact, it’s a boy band and entertainment group called Super Junior.I like Super Junior for a long time. With 13 members, Super Junior is the largest boy band in the world. All its members have different kinds of talents, some members are good at singing and others are skilled in dancing. Unlike most western boy bands group, Super Junior was created from a group of people with different types of experience and different backgrounds. Since their first debut in 2005, their music has been proven to be marketable in some degree. Therefore they have been very popular throughout the whole east Asia which especially consists of China, South Korea and Japan.In 2006, their second album made a hit in the whole South Korea, and after that they became more and more famous. Little by little, their fame came to China and many Chinese teenagers began to pay attention to their music and dance. What makes many Chinese very happy is that there is a Chinese singer called Han Geng in this Korean boy band, and Han Geng also has done a lot to make Super Junior more famous especially in China.From then to now, Super Junior has given lots of their best performances to the audience, and I think they will continue to be my favorite star.How to improve our oral EnglishMost Chinese college students have learned English for about 10 years, in spit of this , most of us can not speak English in a fluent way just like the native speakers do. As for the reasons, I think there are many different factors that can affect our ability to speak oral English fluently. But it does not mean that we don’t have different ways to solve these problems. So I will give some methods which we can use to improve our oral English.On the one hand, we believe an English environment is necessary. An English environment is a structured environment where students can practice a lot to gain the ability to master some academic skills. If we make the most use of this environment, we can improve our oral English very effectively and quickly.On the other, we should do lots of oral practice in our daily life. In this process we need to overcome many different problems. Firstly, we must get rid of our shyness when we speak English especially in front of the public. Remember that shyness is the first obstacle we should cope with. Secondly we must work hard which means we should spend more time practicing no matter what things happen. Only by taking action like this can we practice in an effective way.Above all, speaking skills are needed if we want to make progress quickly. Next time before you open your mouse to speak English, you’d better think of some speaking skills you may use. Because it’s well acknowledged that skills always make things better.That’s all my suggestions to improve oral English.Celebrity endorsementIn the 21st century, selling has come to every parts of our life as a result of the capitalization. Times are over when there was only one brand to buy in China. Nowadays, companies have to fight for attention for their products. The price war between different companies has started, and commercials are parts of it.Advertising agencies shoot for different solutions to market their products. One of the options is using celebrities to endorse fashion. If a celebrity----whom some people regard as a superior individual----uses a product, it has to be good for everybody else. Hence, consumers will buy their products.The issue with this is that people believe celebrities, no matter what. Some still think that celebrities know more about life and what products to choose than the average person. Companies do not mind, because their use of celebrities boosts their sales. In fact, the truth is that companies pay lots of money to celebrities and celebrities just make a performance to get the companies’money. In most cases some celebrities endorse a brand even when they have not ever had a use of the product. Bur as consumers, we want to know whether it is proper for a company to use a celebrity’s images to sell products and whether all products celebrities endorse are safe and good enough.I think things will be worse if a company uses a celebrity to sell products that are unfavorable or even harmful for the public. We have seen many examples in which the company uses the celebrity to sell something bad and cause a great deal of damage to the public. And these examples are just tragedy.All in all, in view of the advantages and disadvantages of celebrity endorsement, my conclusion is that we should take cautious position when speaking of celebrity endorsement.。
