Chengde Mountain Resort
The Mountain Resort in Chengde (避暑山庄) or Ligong (离宫), is a large complex of imperial palaces and gardens situated in the city of Chengde in Hebei , China. Because of its vast and rich collection of Chinese landscapes and architecture , the Mountain Resort in many ways is a culmination of all the variety of gardens, pagodas, temples and palaces from various regions of China.
The Summer Palace
One of the most famous northern Garden is the Summer Palace . The Summer Palace ,known as Yiheyuan in Chinese, is a vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in Beijing, China. It serves as a popular tourist destination and recreational park. Mainly dominated by Longevity Hill (万寿山) and Kunming Lake (昆明湖), it covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometres ,three-quarters of which is water.
The South Garden & The Northern Garden
In China, things normally been divided by the geography , such as North and South .Chinese Garden are the same . Traditionally ,people often called the South Garden as “Jiangnan Garden” .There are many different characters between North Garden and South Garden .

Origin of the Chinese Garden The earliest recorded Chinese gardens were created in the valley of the Yellow River, during the Shang Dynasty (1600–1046 BC). These gardens were large enclosed parks where the kings and nobles hunted game, or where fruit and vegetables were grown.

Humble Administrator's Garden (拙政园)
The Humble Administrator‘s Garden (拙政园) is a renowned Chinese garden in Suzhou . The garden is located at n°178 Dongbei Street (东 北街178号). At 51,950 m2, it is the largest garden in Suzhou and is considered by some to be the finest garden in all of southern China. In 1997, Zhuozheng Yuan, along with other classical gardens of Suzhou was proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage Site(世界遗产名录).
