多吉美不良反应的处理

DIARRHEA
Proactive
Patients told about anti-diarrhea medications (e.g., loperamide), bulking agents Managing symptoms
Eat several small meals a day (plain, simple foods, such as bananas, potatoes and rice) Drink plenty of cool water or clear liquids; avoid hot, refrigerated or iced liquids
Avoid dairy products, high-fat and high-fiber, spicy foods, caffeine, alcohol, prune and orange juice, sugar-free sweets or gum that contain sorbitol
Patient should discuss their diet with the healthcare team HYPERTENSION
Proactive
Check for existing hypertension, if present, control patient blood pressure Managing symptoms
Monitor blood pressure routinely during treatment with Nexavar®
Treat with a standard method for hypertension if required
Blood pressure can usually be controlled without dose modification
Advise your patient to seek medical advice immediately if they experience headache or blurred vision
If your patient has severe or persistent hypertension despite antihypertensive therapy, consider dose modification of Nexavar
FATIGUE
Proactive
Exclude other possible causes of fatigue, such as hypothyroidism, anemia, depression or pain
Managing symptoms
Advise your patients to:
Set priorities so they can complete important tasks
Save demanding activities for when they have energy
Avoid long naps that will keep them awake at night
Distract themselves with games, music, books, for example
Stay as active as possible during the day
Avoid caffeine after midday
RASH
Managing symptoms
From the start of therapy, patients should use a mild soap and avoid hot showers, wear loose-fitting clothing, avoid direct sunlight and wear a broad-brimmed hat while outside (apply sun protection cream with at least a sun protection factor of 30)
Can use moisturizing creams immediately after a shower and before bed Avoid moisturizers that have perfumes or preservatives
Use anti-itch formulas if the rash itches
Antidandruff shampoo can be used on scalp and body
HFSR
Proactive
Remove dry skin with pumice or have manicure and/or pedicure
Refer patient to a podiatrist if necessary
Remember the 3Cs: calluses, cushion and creams (see below)

Calluses: before and at start of treatment, patients should remove any pre-existing calluses on hands or feet
Cushion: cushion pressure points or irritated areas on the hands or feet; wear padded gloves when using tools; wear soft shoes, cotton socks and/or inner soles
Creams: nondeodorant, nonfragrance products; anti-itch formulations; formulations containing urea, a-hydroxy acid, salicylic acid, dimethicone, camphor, lidocaine, ceterayl alcohol, menthol/eucalyptus
