This is me!
My name is Wang xiaoyue. I’m 12 years old. I live with my parents in Huai’an. I study in No.3 middle school and I am in Class 1, Grade 7.
I am tall. I have long and black hair. I wear glasses.
I love reading books. I often go shopping, watch TV at weekends. I am good at sports but I am not good at Maths.
Unit2:
I love sports
My name is Lisa. I am a student at No.1 Middles school.
I am not tall but I like basketball very much. I often play basketball with some boys after school. We often talk about basketball and watch matches on TV. I also like reading books about basketball.
Yao Ming is my hero. He plays basketball very well. I want to play basketball with him one day.
Unit3:
My school
I study at No.3 Middle School. It is a beautiful school. There are 30 classrooms in my school. We have a big hall. We can have meetings there. We don’t have a library. But we have a big reading room. We can read lots of books there.
We have a playground. We like to play on the playground. We are happy at school.
I go to school at 7 a.m. every day. I take a bus to school. It takes me about ten minutes to get there.
Unit4：
My school life
I’m Tim. I’m 12 years old. I’m a student at No.3 Middle School. I’m in Class 2, Grade 7. My classmates and teachers are all nice to me.
I walk to school at 6:30 every morning. Our lesson starts at 7:40 a.m. My favourite lessons are English and Chinese. They are very interesting. I like reading because I want to learn more about the world.
Mike is my best friend. He is good at swimming. We always chat with each other at lunchtime.
I enjoy my school life very much.
Unit5：
My favourite festival
My favourite festival is the Spring Festival. The Spring Festival is an important festival in China. It is in January or February.
My family get together. We have a big dinner at my grandparents’home. I always eat a lot of nice food. My cousin and I both get red packets from our grandparents. In the afternoon , we often watch lion dances. It’s very interesting. At night, we often watch fireworks. They are very beautiful.
I’m always happy at the Spring Festival.
Unit6：
My diet and lifestyle
My name is Anna. I’m 13 years old. I like playing volleyball. I need a lot of energy every day.
For breakfast, I often have bread and some eggs and I drink a cup of juice. This helps me start the day.
For lunch, I often have rice with meat. I also eat some vegetables and fruit. This gives me energy for the afternoon and the after-school activities.
For supper, I often have hamburgers and milk. I also eat some snacks.
I need to have a healthy diet and lifestyle.
Unit7:
Star Shopping Mall is near my home. The mall is very big, and you can find everything you want. There are six floors in it. There are many shops in the mall, such as many restaurants, a bookshop, many clothes shops, a shoe shop and so on. My mother likes the clothes shops and the supermarket best. I like the computer game center on the top floor best.
I often go there at the weekend. The mall opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 10:00 p.m. Many people like to do some shopping there every day.
Unit8:
I want to design a T-shirt, a pair of jeans and a pair of trainers.
The T-shirt is made of cotton. It is light yellow and it looks young. The jeans are made of cotton, too. They are light blue. They are short and they look cool. The trainers are made of leather. They are white and blue. They are very comfortable to wear and they match the clothes very well.
