If you don't understand a word on the topic card, ask immediately. The examiner will give you a brief answer to help you understand. Don't waste time wondering what the topic means!
Do not panic if you have no experience with the topic. For example, you can talk about someone else's experience instead of your own, or say that you can't remember a funny movie, but you do remember a sad one.

The cue questions on the card are included to help you to prepare your answer. However, you'll not be penalised if your talk does not follow all the cues on the card. It's more important to talk fluently and to keep going for 2 minutes than to cover all the points on the topic card.
