现代美国英语口语词典银行日常会话Daily Bank Speech提示：银行日常业务种类繁多，我们学习时要从最一般的业务术语开始。
从银行职员角度来说最大量的就是存款、取款、兑换、记账、转账等等。
对这些术语，要做到烂熟于胸，到正式会话时才能脱口而出。
此外，还要熟悉一些常见的句型和表达方式，我们编排的每例的问候、陈述、或者发问都是最常用的句式，大部分句式后面还有一些语法说明。

1、早上好，先生。
您想要兑换吗?Good morning, sir. Would you like to change money?与顾客打招呼，首先当然要问好，然后转入正题。
例如：Good afternoon, madam. What can I do for you?（下午好，太太。
我能帮你的忙吗？）Good evening, miss. Would you like to draw [] some money? （晚上好，小姐。
您想取钱吗？）2、您想要哪种个人支票账户？普通的还是特别的？What kind of checking account do you want? A regular one or a special one?What sort of cheque [] do you like, the traveller's cheque? （你想要什么样的支票，是旅行支票吗？）What kind of deposit [] account do you like, the fixed or the current? （您想办理哪样存款，定期存款还是活期存款？）3、我能为您效劳吗？What can I do for you?这是一句主动提出给人帮忙的套话，类似的还有：Can I help you? （我能帮你什么忙吗？）Would you like me to do you a favor? （您想要我给您帮忙吗？）4、您打算取多少钱？How much money do you want to draw?学银行英语，要记住一些与钱币打交道的习语，例如：I plan to deposit some money. （我打算存一些钱。
）Would you like to draw money? （您想取钱吗？）Are you planning to change money? （您打算兑换钞票吗？）Mr. Smith intends to remit [] money. （史密斯先生想汇款。
）5、您的存款余额是6000元人民币。
Your balance is RMB 6000. 2在金融上，“balance”一词有多种表达意义，分别为“平衡，差额，余额”等等，翻译时尤其要注意。
如：Please record the balance in ledge. （请记下这总账的余额。
）The balance of clearing is U.S.$20,000. （清算余额为2万美金。
）We are producing the balance sheet. （我们正在编制资产负债表。
）This is the balance of a current account. （这是活期账户的余额。
）6、许多人认为银行工作很累人。
Many people think banking is tiresome.表达“认为”“以为”可以用think...，believe...，hold that...等，如：Most people believe that the task of accounting is troublesome. （大部分人认为财会工作很麻烦。
）Many young women hold that bank accounting [] is a good job. （许多年轻女士认为银行会计是一份好工作。
）7、详细信息列在那块牌上。
The detailed information is listed on the board.被动语态被广泛的使用在专业英语里，如：A receipt was enclosed in the envelop for you. （给你开了一张收据放在信封里。
）A cheque with some advanced date will also be issued for you. （还要给你开一张远期支票。
）Free personal checks are offered to all our customers. （我们免费给所有顾客提供个人支票。
）8、兑换支票收手续费吗？Do you charge for cheques?charge“收费”一词在英语中可分别作为动词和名词使用：We do not charge anything for drawing. （取款不收任何费用。
）We only charge a very little fee for remittance. （汇款只收一点点小费。
）There is no charge for outgoing remittance.（向外汇款不收费。
）9、我必须存一大笔钱才可以开一个支票/储蓄账户吗？Do I have to deposit a large sum of money in order to open a checking or savings account?英语中“in order to，so as to，so that”引出目的状语，口语中常常使用：Please fill out the signature card in order to leave your script. （请填写这张签名卡，留下你的字迹。
）You need to write down your name, address and occupation so as to let us know your identity. （填上你的姓名、地址与职业，让我们了解你的身份。
）I'll get a receipt and a checkbook for you so that you can complete these forms. （我为您准备收据和支票本，好让您填写这些表格。
）10、因为粗心，李小姐的汇款单出了一些错。
M iss Li makes mistakes on the remittance sheet due to carelessness.表示原因的状语多种多样，最常见的用短语介词“because of”或者“because，for”等关联词。
Miss Liu didn't come because of illness. （因为生病，刘小姐没来。
）Mr. Zhang was late this morning because the rain delayed [] his arrival. （张先生今天上午来晚了，因为下雨耽搁了。
）There must be something wrong with the account for the result [] is incorrect. （账目肯定有问题，因为结果不对。
）11、我应在什么地方签名？Where am I supposed [] to sign my name?“be supposed to”这一短语表示一种客观情况，意思为“估计，认为”常在口语中使用。
例如：I am supposed to draw some money from the bank to meet this month's expenditure. （我大概要从银行取些钱对付本月开支。
）He is supposed to graduate from the college but he knows little about finance. （他今年要大学毕业了，但是金融方面的知识还是知道得不多。
）12、如果你请她帮忙，她肯定会教你怎样做。
If you ask her for help, she will certainly tell you how to do it.条件句如果用虚拟式表达，则要求如下：与现在情况相反：If A did (were to do), A (B) would do...与过去情况相反：If A had done... A (B) would have done...例如：If he were here now, I would ask him for help. （假如他现在在这里，我就要请她帮忙。
）If I had studied the bank accounting, I would have worked more smoothly []. （如果我当初学了银行会计，我的工作就会更加顺利。
）Were you to lay ] in new stock of goods now, you would make profit. （假如你们现在进货，你们就可以盈利。
）13、先生，您不介意把护照号码告诉我吧？Would you mind telling me your passport number, sir?英语中，某些动词常与动名词搭配。
常见的有：avoid，admit，consider，enjoy，finish，miss，mind，risk 等：We don't avoid working overtime for our customers.（我们决不拒绝为客户加班。
）She admitted [] making mistakes on the account.（她承认做账有错误。
）Do you consider offering a foreign exchange loan? （您考虑过提供外汇贷款吗？）We never risk asking for loans over payment. （我们决不冒险申请归还不了的贷款。
）14、请填上这张表，好让我帮您存款。
Would you please fill out the form so that we can deposit your money?表示结果状语最常用的结构有：“that, so that, so ... that”等等：She made a lot of mistakes on the exam so she failed. （她考试时做错很多题，因而不及格。
