The table illustrates the amount of foreign travelers to 7 countries. The 7 countries include Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, and Thailand.
The first 3 welcomed countries for foreign visitors are France, Italy and Canada, 53 million, 20 million and 15 million respectively. It is obvious that almost half travelers chose France to be their destination among the 7 countries.
Most of British people love to go to France, Ireland and Italy, while American people prefer Canada, Mexico and Italy. The distances to one’s nation account for the different biases. For instance, English favor European countries, while American like North American countries better. They tend to choose those countries near their home.
It is also very interesting to find that People in the UK love to visit France, but those from the U.S. do not. In addition, the second favourite country for American people is Mexico, however, British people are less likely to go here among the seven countries.
