Location: Shanghai, ChinaClient: Shanghai Forrester (ZhaBei) Development LimitedServices: Master Planning, architecture, Environmental graphicsWorking with the Shanghai Institute of Architec-ture, Design, and Research, the Shanghai, Los Angeles and Dallas offices of the American firm RTKL provided architectural, master-planning, and environmental graphic design services for Life Hub @ Daning, one of Shanghai’s first modern mixed-use developments with open-air retail.The development consists of 15 separate build-ings situated on about 5 Ha of land in the center of Shanghai’s growing Zhabei district. The development includes shops and restaurants ranging from the discount electronics chain Gome to trendy boutiques. Life Hub @ Daning 大宁国际商业中心Location: Shanghai, China Client: ConfidentialServices: Conceptual Architecture DesignLuwan Mixed-Use is located in Shanghai’s booming South Luwan District. The beautiful NanYuan Park is conveniently located to the east of the site, and a planned waterfront promenade to the south of the site. Views from the hotel, office, residential and serviced apartment windows have been oriented towards the park, the river, the stunning Lupu Bridge and the future skyline of EXPO 2010. RTKL ’s design for Luwan Mixed-Use carefully follows a recipe for international success. There are 3 principal design strategies are used in this project. First, our design capitalizes upon the location advantage. Given the context of the HuangPu River and the park, the form, materials, and scale of the buildings have been crafted to inspire a sense of “lanterns in the garden and along the river”. Second, we have also carefully merged the surrounding groves and green areas into the site. The third highlight is the synergistic effect of the project’s overall functions. Luwan Mixed-Use integrates and interlocks commercial, cultural and business purpose, which will be a comprehensive and fully integrated “city within a city”.地点: 中国上海客户: 保密服务: 建筑概念设计卢湾项目位于卢湾区南端,东侧为环境 优美南园公园,南侧隔绿化带和水边步道,西侧为在建住宅项目地块和保留建筑 。

从酒店,写字楼,住宅和酒店式公寓望出去,公园,黄浦江,雄伟的卢浦大桥以及世博会会址可尽收眼底。

RTKL 的卢湾设计遵循着国际上成功案例的经验,在此案的设计中用了三个亮点来表现。

首先,发挥紧邻黄埔江的天然优势,将建筑 群刻画成衬托于水景草地之上的明灯;其次,巧妙的将周边的绿地融入地段;第三个亮点表现在各功能区域有机结合的整体效应上。

本案综合了商业,文化,办公等多种用途,从而形成综合性的“城中之城”。

Luwan Mixed-Use卢湾综合项目Location: Shanghai, ChinaClient: Shanghai Ji Wei Investment Co. Ltd.Services: Architecture and Interior Architecture The project has 2 main components: a 38-level office tower and 6-level Retail Center. The complex has 19 districts carefully designed in the program. The 180m tower has a typical floor area of 1600-1780 sq.m,with program of high end retail, office, sky restaurant and observatory sky club. The Sky Water shopping center is comprised of two East and West buildings divided with a “canyon”. Retail areas were designed with different architecture themes includ-ing “Zhouzhuang in the air”, Italian City, Shanghai Food Museum, Contemporary Western Village.etc地点: 中国上海(在建)客户: 上海集伟投资有限公司服务: 建筑设计, 室内设计本项目主要包括两部分,一座38层的商务塔楼和6层的大型商业购物中心,在功能上共有19个分区。

180米高的塔楼的标准层面积有1600-1780平方米,其功能包括了商务,办公, 空中餐厅等“滨江水乡”购物中心由“峡谷”分成东西两半,并通过自然主题和人文主题设计成不同的主题建筑 群,包括空中周庄,意大利城,亚洲风情村,上海小吃博览村等。

Yang Pu Parcel No.2杨浦2号地块Location: Yangpu District, Shanghai, China Client: Shanghai Orient Fisherman QuayInvestment and Development Co., Ltd Service: Urban Planning,Conceptual Architectural Design Fisherman’s Wharf Shanghai is a place with human touch, and urban drama and a place to senses of the fish market/wharf. A real Fisherman’s Wharf is an exciting example of‘urban theatre’. It’s about people to people con-tact in the name of buying the freshest food possible. It’s also about direct human interface with sky, wind, water, weather. It’s about using all the senses – taste, touch, smell, soundsin addition to sight. It’s about people watching.
