With increasing college students taking part-time jobs in their spare time ，the masses hold a fierce debate between the pros and cons of taking a part-time job .
It is commonly acknowledged that most of us benefit from taking a part-time job . To start with, a part-time job , indeed , is an extremely good approach to cultivate students’ independence and foster a strong sense of social responsibility that is never too old-fashioned , especially we are able to ease the finances of family and earn our own pocket money, which enriches our lift . Meanwhile , it offers us precious opportunities to face the unknown difficulties we may run into, and find out the solution independently by ourselves . In addition , that the spirit of cooperation and competition we learn from the part-time jobs are quite essential in our future career . Moreover , being confident of our potential ability is generally building up under the deep control of interpersonal communication skills , all of which are necessary in the next several decades. Equally important , it makes us highly qualified for the future job that a part-time job does widen our horizon and increase our experience .
However , despite of the advantages , there are obviously a minority of drawbacks . The key factor is to be difficult to keep balance work and
school . Some perhaps suffer from a slump in their studies because of tiredness caused by the job pressure , many a teacher also doubt whether it is suitable for students to take a part-time job with putting too much time and energy on the work . What’s worse, a few students feel sick due to overwork.
To be honest , I believe that part-time jobs are not the main barrier to study , so I am firmly in favor of taking a part-time job , in that students convert their theories into actual practice , the experience we have gone through is desperately precious in our life , as long as we keep a appropriate balance between work and study .

Some people might think that young people hardly have the sense to distinguish the right and the wrong , so a boarding school could provide an opportunity for some misbehaviors to be disseminated .
I extremely suspect the argument . From my own point of view , boarding schools are never poor ideas for students and parents. Above all , all children who go to other schools rely too much on their parents , on the contrary , boarding schools are can offer good environment to cultivate children’s independence and help them learn to look after themselves . As we know , independence can’t be emphasized too much when it comes to
the education .
Besides , students are given enough time to improve their study . Meanwhile , boarding schools ensure that students learn something every day , for the sake of avoiding getting the habit of laziness and unorganization . On the other hand , it is convinced that students enable to learn basic discipline and a variety of rules both in school and in society , which is beneficial to reduce the rate of crime among young people . Furthermore , the spirit of cooperation and the sense of teamwork are cultivated unconsciously as time goes by . Last but not least , if only children study in boarding schools , their parents may feel more relieved , because it keeps away their kids from dangers on the their way home . Even , it helps kids realize how precious the time is when staying with their parents rather than be spoiled .
With listing these reasons above , I firmly believe that boarding schools are good choices for both children and parents , not just for the safety , but also for the steady high education .。
