Look in your telephone directory for the local authority number. But remember that these courses are often fun in school playgrounds, so it’s important to make sure that what’s learnt is then put into practice on the roads. Make sure that your child understands road signs.Explain, for example, that “crossroads” does not mean “cross the road”. Words like “one-way street” and “traffic island” can also be difficult for children to understand.
