Future World, the Cloud’s WorldGood morning everybody!It's my honor to speak here,and I am very glad to share my ideas with you. I’m a sophomore and my major is software engineering. At first, let me see a picture, so ,what is this? A cloud, ok. What would you image from the picture? Maybe you will think about different kinds of clouds with various shapes or especially the constant cloudy and misty weather in Chongqing at once. But wait for a minute, I believe these things will come to your mind immediately.(放各种我们熟悉的云应用图片，如百度云, icloud, google cloud). And I believe you have used more than one of them in daily life. So the topic I will talk about today is ”Future World, the Cloud’s World”.What’s the cloud?In the most basic terms, the Cloud refers to the Internet. Lots of engineers might yell at us for being that basic, but when someone says, "I stored it in the Cloud," they mean they stored it on an Internet service. For example, photos, videos or web-mail services are in "the cloud."Now, of course, it isn't really that simple. The Cloud or cloud computing refers to an application that is hosted on or run on Internet servers. All the companies that have these services -- Google, Facebook, Yahoo, Apple, Tencent and ali-- have servers or server farms. That's where your media is actually stored.The services that cloud provides.As we all know, there many aspects in the cloud service such as cloud things, cloud security, cloud storage and cloud games. But all these services are based on the cloud computing.In my view, the Cloud provides a platform where all the advanced IT technologies can apply.The combination of big data and the cloud.Just as the cloud is growing steadily, we are also noticing an explosion of information across the web. These high volumes of data present a challenge to the cloud environment. How to manage and secure the essence of this data rather than just stacking it?It seems like cloud computing and big data are an ideal combination for this. Therefore, cloud computing and big data like the two sides of a coin.The Internet of Things in the CloudNowadays, IOT--internet of things are more and more popular. Look around, we can find that many devices, from refrigerators to cars, can connect to the internet and be controlled by smart phones and computers. Moreover, almost of them have a massive cloud-based back end.Bitcoin:the money that comes from cloud.Have you heard about the bitcoin? So what’s the relationship between Bitcoin and the cloud? Of course, I don’t teach you how to mine bitcoins today, because this iswhat I desperately want to know. So far, Bitcoin, a digital currency and payment network, seems to be a success story in the virtual money arena. Cloud mining is simply the easy way for anyone who wants to do BitCoin mining to get into it without having to invest in hardware, maintenance, electricity and overheads. Therefore, now everyone of us can mine Bitcoins with the cloud.AI floated into cloud.Artificial Intelligence is like an iceberg, there is a lot hidden than what is visible. The true potential of AI is yet to come out. The way AI and cloud computing is changing the landscape of corporate world; it is believed to be the future of technology. Artificial Intelligence equips cloud computing with tremendous power. It enables machines to learn, think, act, and react like human beings. AI helps machines to analyze and learn from the historical data, identify patterns and make real-time decisions.For example, Amazon, with its AWS Amazon Cloudservice showed off Amazon Cloud 9, an integrated development environment (IDE) that plugs directly into its cloud platform. It also announced a host of new AI tools that can turn speech in audio files into time-stamped text, as well as translate between seven languages and track people, activities, and objects in video.
