Helping Others Equals Helping Ourselves
Everyone’s life will have many obstacles, and to get over to these obstacles, sometimes we need other peoples help. Here’s a question I want to ask: What are you going to do to make other people to help you? Well, last week I read a story and I find out that the answer is in the story. This story’s name is “The Ant and The Bird”.
Once upon a time, an ant named Lucy was playing beside the river. The river’s water speed was very gentle---Well, at least we think it’s gentle. Suddenly, a strong wind blows Lucy to the river. Well, I said that the water IS gentle for US, but it ISN’T for the ANT’S.”Help! Help me!” Lucy the ant wanted to get out of the water. She tried once, she tried twice, she tried trice…… But she failed. At this time, a bird named Tommy flew over. He looked in the river and saw Lucy---- struggling. He quickly went brainstorm and quickly brought a long stick and put it in the river. Lucy caught the stick and carefully went to the ground.
Tommy saw that Lucy was OK, so he flew into the grass forest---- Well,at least for bids-----to look for some food. But, a cold hearted hunter Star saw Tommy, so he wanted to kill him for food. Suddenly, Lucy bit Star’s leg and caught his attention. Star didn’t pay any attention to Tommy now. At this time, Tommy quickly flew away and Lucy quickly hid in the log. Star’s prey ran away.
Everyone, did you find the answer? Yes, helping others equals helping ourselves, and hurting others equals hurting ourselves. This is what the story told us.。
