Course description:
This course introduces basic Japanese-Chinese translation theories and skills, together with a large number of translation practice of diverse styles inside and outside classroom, so that students are familiar with problems to be noted in the translation process, master translating skills, apply theories to practice, and explore and summarize translation techniques, so as to improve translating ability. In doing so, exercises will be alternated with instructions. What’s more, appreciation of classic translation works will be touched on in the course to enhance students’awareness of and ability to translate.

Attendance and Assignment: 20%; Final Exam: 80%
