Activity 1: Read the passage and circle the best answers. After skimming the passage, write your own answer, select the closest one which is given by the book. Activity 2: Fill in the table with the information in the passage. Find the key words from the question in the passage, the answer is nearby. Activity 3: Use the words and expressions in the box to fill in the paragraph on cutting unnecessary spending each day. Change the form if necessary. 1) Know the meaning of every word in the box. 2) Read the paragraph; get the main idea of it. 3) Pay attention the words before and after the blanks. 4) Discuss your answers with your partner. Activity 4: Do you know any other tips on saving money? Discuss with your partner and write down your ideas. Think about any tips you can get from your parents、friends、or any other people you know, maybe you can learn it from TV、advertisement and so on.
