Different Types of Kimono
• The kimonos are various, changing constantly in designs, color and texture in thousands years. • The are obvious differences in dressing kimono between men and women.
Men’s kimono
The men’s kimono are singual in color and style. A man’s kimono is usually darkbule, brown, gray or black, with thin waist brand and simple accessories(配饰).
Women’s kimono
The women’s kimono are colorful with wide waist brand and many accessories.
bathrobe(ゆかた yokata)浴衣
A bathrobe is often worn after bathing in a hot spring or bath. Bathrobes are also commonly seen at some festivals, such as fireworks festivals throughout Japan during the summer.
