在suggestion, advice, request, order, demand, requirement等意为 “建议;命令;要求”的名词后,同 位语从句中的谓语动词通常用 “should +动词原形”的虚拟语气结 构,句中的should可以省略。

同位语从句放在某些抽象名词后, news, word (消息), idea, fact, hope, thought , suggestion, advice, problem, possibility, promise 等,解释说明抽象名词。

同位语从句与定语从句的区别 从作用上讲,同位语从句对前面的名 词加以补充说明或解释,而定语从句 对名词进行修饰和限定 (补充说明或 解释;修饰和限定)。 从内涵上讲,同位语从句与所说明或 解释的名词是同等关系,定语从句与 所修饰的名词是从属关系。

引导同位语从句的连词that不可省略, 而引导定语从句的关系代词that(在从 句中作宾语时)可省略。另外,that在 同位语从句中没有词义,不充当句子 成分;而在定语从句中充当主语、宾 语等句子成分。
