more than one用法
more than one 意思是：不止一个
more than one 作主语时，谓语动词通常用单数（要从形式一致来考虑）。

注意以下两个结构：
1.more than one +单数名词作主语时，谓语动词用单数。

2.more +复数名词+than one 作主语时，谓语动词用复数。

也可以这么说：以上结构中名词的数决定其后面动词的数。

例如：
More than one boy【has read】the story.
More boys than one 【have read 】the story.
类似的用法还有：
Many a +单数名词（意思是“许多”），作主语时，谓语动词用单数Many +复数名词（意思是“许多”），作主语时，谓语动词用复数
例如：
Many a child is playing there.
=Many children are playing there .
