It is really a great honor for me to have this opportunity to be here. I hope I may have a good performance today. My name isXXX, from CollegeXXXXXX.
I major in International Education of Chinese. During my three-year study, as an undergraduate student, I tried my best to study hard, and I think I have built up a solid foundation of professional knowledge. With my devotion for linguistics, I’m eager to achieve higher goals. I choose Japanese as my second foreign language, so that I could learn more about different language family and make good use of it. Now I’m teaching Chinese as a part-time teacher.
For my major, I’m interested in nearly all courses about linguistics, especially grammar and second language acquisition. My term paper was conducted by ProfessorXXX, the paper is about XXX. Based on corpus and questionnaire, I found different tendency in pragmatics between native speakers and foreigners when they use the word. Actually, the paper is not very well. However, I learned ideas and methods for academic writing, the more important thing is the rigorous academic attitude we must have.
Finally, I’d like to tell something about my postgraduate. I’m willing to major in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics. I know I’m a little bit poor in knowledge and competence, but I’m interested in this field and I’m sure that I would make greater efforts and do some achievements.
